I appreciated this little hotel with really kind and very good staff at the reception desk. the property was next to the ferry port. 3. Perissa, where the hotel is located, isn't the main touristy side of the island.

The staff were very friendly and hospitality was excellent. The pool was lovely and the location was near to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Perfect for a short trip to santorini.
We would have loved some english breakfast tea, and an option for toast at breakfast.

We appreciated this relaxing hotel with very good staff at the reception desk. We had the double room which was rather big and immaculate in a worse condition.

The hotel was a brilliant base for enjoying a good area. Just next door to a supermarket and 24/7 bakery. - Close to the beach and beachfront restaurants. - the breakfast was savoury with cheese, chocolate, and boiled eggs, showing attention to detail.

I took a bus most of the way from the port but could not find my way to the hotel. A local travel agent called the hotel for me and a van arrived to take me to the hotel. A hotel empoyee gave me a ride to the port when it was time to leave. The hotel is across the street from a supermarket and a bakery. The hotel is near to a bus stop and a travel agency that arranged two local tours for me.

The balcony was air-conditioned, which was nice, and the location was great, just a few minutes away from a bus station.

Petra Nera is brilliantly located right by the bus stop (buses to the port and to Fira, the main town), less than five minutes walk from the beach (which is also where all the bars/restaurants are) and right next to the road that leads up to Ancient Thira. The walk up the hill to Ancient Thira takes just under an hour and is well worth it. The manager is really friendly and helpful, recommends things to do, is knowledgeable about attractions and even drove us to the port to catch our ferry to Crete.
The beds are okay but not great, too firm to be very comfortable. One of the two quad rooms is very small. There isn't much choice at breakfast, which may bother fussy eaters, however what was there was replenished frequently during breakfast time and did vary a little from day-to-day.

This was a friendly family run hotel. They were very helpful with advice, as I was travelling solo I was made to feel welcome and safe. The hotel is in an ideal position, walking distance to the local beach and shops and tavernas, a bus stop outside the hotel which was reliable. Overall a very nice place to stay, clean comfortable and affordable. I would go back to this Hotel again.
